Rules

The rules, in plain English

Short version: do not be a nuisance, do not cheat, do not take other people's things. The long version is below, and it is what staff actually enforce.

1. Conduct

  1. Treat people decently. Harassment, threats, slurs and targeted abuse get you removed. There is no warning for hate speech.
  2. Keep it broadly family-friendly. No sexual content, no gore, no shock material — in chat, in builds, in skins or in names.
  3. No doxxing. Never post someone else's real name, address, school, workplace or photos. Not even as a joke.
  4. Do not impersonate staff or other players. That includes nicknames designed to look like someone else's.
  5. Leave real-world politics and religion out of chat. It never ends well in a game server.

2. Fair play

  1. No cheat clients or hacks. X-ray, fly, killaura, reach, auto-clickers and macro scripts are all bans. Client-side performance mods like Sodium are fine.
  2. Do not install extra content mods. Anything adding items, blocks or entities will stop you connecting, and attempting to bypass that check is treated as cheating.
  3. Report exploits, do not farm them. Find a duplication bug or a way to break the economy? Tell us in the Discord. Quietly using it is a ban and a rollback.
  4. No alt accounts for rewards. One vote, one crate, one dungeon reward per person — not per account.
  5. No AFK farming for currency. Lag machines and unattended farms built to game the economy will be removed.
  6. Do not sabotage other parties. Interfering with someone else's raid or dungeon run on purpose counts as griefing.

3. Building and land

  1. Do not grief. Breaking, burning or altering someone else's build without permission is an instant removal. We keep logs and we do roll back.
  2. Do not steal. Unlocked chests are not an invitation.
  3. Build a reasonable distance from others. If someone was there first, give them room. Being asked to move and refusing is on you.
  4. Nothing offensive in build form. The conduct rules apply to what you construct as much as what you type.
  5. Keep lag builds in check. Enormous redstone clocks, mob grinders and entity farms may be trimmed if they hurt the server for everyone else.
  6. Clean up after yourself. Do not leave one-block towers, random holes or half-finished projects all over the spawn area.

4. Chat and trading

  1. No spam. That includes repeating yourself, caps flooding and command spam.
  2. No advertising. Do not post other server IPs or promote your own. Sharing a YouTube or Twitch link of your CobbleWorld play is welcome.
  3. English in global chat. Other languages are welcome in DMs and in the Discord language channels.
  4. No real-money trading. Selling accounts, items or currency for real money outside the official store is a permanent ban.
  5. Scamming is a ban. Trades are yours to negotiate, but deliberately deceiving someone about what they are getting is not a trade.

5. Purchases

  1. Get permission before you spend. If the card is not yours, ask the person it belongs to first.
  2. Open a ticket instead of charging back. Chargebacks permanently ban the account. If something went wrong with an order, we will fix it — just ask.
  3. Ranks do not override the rules. Paying for a rank does not buy leniency, and bans are not refunded.

6. How enforcement works

  1. Staff decisions stand in the moment. If you disagree, appeal in the Discord afterwards rather than arguing in chat.
  2. Punishments scale. Most first offences are a warning or a mute. Cheating, griefing and hate speech skip straight to a ban.
  3. Appeals are welcome. Open a ticket in the Discord. Be honest about what happened — it genuinely helps your case.
  4. Ignorance is not a defence, but honesty counts for a lot. Tell us what you did and we will usually work with you.
  5. These rules can change. Significant updates get announced in the Discord.

Anything not covered here still falls under rule zero: do not ruin the game for other people. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask in the Discord before you do it rather than after.
